Sarah said, 'I think Joe Wicks' books are great as he makes eating real food quick and easy.
He does make clear that the carb loading days are aimed to be done with his workouts and it would certainly not work for anyone who wants to follow the food and not do the exercise regime.'Personally I don’t advocate carb loading and instead opt for a lower carb, sugar free lifestyle as this can not only help you lose weight but can also help reverse many health problems, but the important thing is to look at the food rather than the calories.

Joe Wicks is the good looking brains (and body) behind the astronomically successful Lean in 15 brand, which has seen men and women countrywide signing up to transform their bodies with healthy recipes and accompanying workouts. Joe Wicks – an ex-personal trainer and bootcamp owner – found fame posting daily 15 second videos of ‘lean’ recipes that could be made in just 15 minutes on Instagram, and now boasts 1.2 million followers on the site alone For the most part they look really simple, but I’ve heard a few grumblings that they’re not achievable in quarter of an hour, so I'm keen to try for myself – even though I (sadly) can’t do the workouts at the moment as I’m heavily pregnant.
I’d have liked more bacon, but really I’m being picky. But with meals including a giant meatball sub, burgers with buns, cheesy steaks and huge plates of pasta, can these recipes actually be healthy? In terms of testing the recipes, I start the timer from the moment I’ve finished reading the recipe and got my ingredients out; nothing is chopped or prepped beforehand. What's more I don't prep my oven, grill or any other equipment – Jamie Oliver’s 15-minute recipes are guilty of all of these crimes!I don’t think the taste would be for everyone, but I don’t have a massively sweet tooth, so I enjoyed these, but so too did my two-year-old!I ended up really liking this book even though I didn’t expect to.
